Florida charter fishing. Dolphin and sails in minutes.
Report Date: May 22, 2007
Fishing is still keeping up. We only fished a morning half today, but caught three Dolphin from 10 to 22lbs. Two kings averaging 15 lbs. We also missed a sail and then had him follow us for a while, firing up on a long rigger a couple times, but left without giving us a second shot. The bonita were around, but not too much of a nuisance. And a 30 lb. Cuda finished the morning off for us.
The East wind pushed the clean water into 100 ft. and the temp was 81.2 F. A slow rough ride out along with a stiff wind and a lot of scattered grass moving East and West, made fishing a little difficult but it was worth it. Too bad it’ll be too rough tomorrow.
