The first set of tournaments are over now and not a bad start. The fishing was far better then we thought it was going to be and more then 10 bites a day is what it took to win a daily. We finished with a 3rd and a 1st! Joe Lehner, Paul Mears, Ian and Skyler Wichers defended their title to the most prestigious tournament on the Treasure Coast, The Light Tackle.
We are now in full charter swing and the fishing is as good as you could want. Sails, dolphin, an occasional lip hooked wahoo, and we can finally bottom fish again. I can’t tell you how many snapper we trolled over looking for sails the last couple of weeks.
