Fl. East coast fishing , dolphin and sails steady action.

Report Date: November 15, 2007

Beautiful weather and pretty good fishing sums up this past week. We fished the 12th 13th and 14th, and each day provided fair to good action with a great quality of fish.
On the 12th most of the local charter boats took out the pilots from the air show. Great group of people and good dolphin and sail fishing to reward them for their time spent on the show. The Finest Kind fished a half day and caught a sail out of two and a couple of nice dolphin. The Boneshaker fished a full and we ended up with 3 sails and about 8 dolphin weighing up to 25 lbs. The kingfish and cuda where all over the place.
The 13th and 14th were spent with the designers of Bomber Lures. We were targeting the toothy critters these days and did catch some nice kings and barracuda, But even though all we had out were Bombers for our hook baits, we still had our teasers out and the dolphin and sails were firing in on them. On one occasion a sail was just about to eat our pitch bait and a 20 lb. dolphin charged in so quick the sail didn’t have a chance. We got the dolphin but lost the interest of the sail. The reports are better and better each day. Book your trip for the holidays now to insure getting the days you want.
