The start of something good
Report Date: September 19, 2007
The end of September is upon us and the fishing seem to be right on schedule. The mullet run is in full swing, the sails, dolphin, and early a.m. wahoo bite is here and the sword fishing is some of the best you could hope for.
The Boneshaker will be headed up to New Smyrna for a week for a tournament on the 17-21. If you would like to fish a day or to up there, get in touch with me.
Between Capt. Jake and I the last few trips have yielded an impressive variety of fish. The highlights being a 250 lb. Lemon shark, two swords up to 110 lbs. Some sails, seems like we have at least one shot, even in a half day. The current hasn’t been too bad, so the deep dropping is pretty good.
Oct. is a great time to get out there. Dinner on the table and any day could be the one when the sails show up in hungry wolf packs. Double digit days are right around the corner.
