1st place finish in the Buc. Boneshaker charters for fishing tournaments
Report Date: January 24, 2010
The Buccaneer tournament just wrapped up and the great fishing continued. The first day was a little slow for us but with a minute left we raised a wolf pack and hooked six and caught four. And the roll began. The next day right out of the gate we were in the thick of it, by the end of the day we had released 17. Day three the final day, we kept on rolling. By 12:30 we had released Well, it’s finally time to take advantage of all this wind. Today, up went the kites and out went the live baits. As much as I appreciate all the great charter fishing Stuart offers on the troll, I do have to admit, I really have started to enjoy our live bait and kite fishing charters a lot more the last five or six years. Watching those frisky sails come firing in on those helpless little live baits dangling from our kites makes my heart jump. Fins up, lit up pecks and spinning donuts around a panicked sardines are sights that you and your guests will never forget. To the trained eye a dredge bite from a hungry sail is almost always something to cherish, but to the untrained eye, it never even happened, on the other hand Ray Charles can see a hot sail on the short kite bait. Come charter the Boneshaker to see how sail fishing off Stuart is done.
Available for live and dead bait sailfish charters, Fl. tuna charters, bottom fishing charters, and saltwater fly fishing charters. Stuart Fl. is a short boat ride to some of the most fertile charter fishing grounds off the U.S.
14 sailfish and then the waiting began. Our afternoon was slow and full of that gut wrenching, stomach turning, tournament anxiety that I just can’t get enough of. At 3:30 the proverbial whistle blew, Joe, the midgets, and the entire crew was happy ( even Skee Bo). Another first place finish for the season, along with top junior angler, top male angler, and two dailies. What a great season! We are already booked for one more big sailfish tournament in April, but other then that, we are open for fl. charters and tournament charters. Ask about our Fl. tuna charter too.
