Well, it’s finally time to take advantage of all this wind. Today, up went the kites and out went the live baits. As much as I appreciate all the great charter fishing Stuart offers on the troll, I do have to admit, I really have started to enjoy our live bait and kite fishing charters a lot more the last five or six years. Watching those frisky sails come firing in on those helpless little live baits dangling from our kites makes my heart jump. Fins up, lit up pecks and spinning donuts around a panicked sardines are sights that you and your guests will never forget. To the trained eye a dredge bite from a hungry sail is almost always something to cherish, but to the untrained eye, it never even happened, on the other hand Ray Charles can see a hot sail on the short kite bait.
