Fl. sailfish tournament fishing charters

Report Date: January 8, 2010

The Pelican and the Treasure Coast Championship on the line!

Not quite the end of the season but a wrap up to a three tournament series.

After the first two legs we are leading the fleet, with three days left

I hope we can hold on. Day one of fishing proved to be great, as much of the season has been. We ended up catching 9 sails out of a couple more bites.

Day two unaffected by the changing winds was good as well giving us a total of 17 sails in the two days. We decided not to fish day three (mandatory lay day) and wait for the swirling winds to settle for day four. While the winds did steady, the Temp dropped and the steam from the warm ocean all day made it hard to even see our baits. While some boats did well on the last day, it seems like we had used up our luck. We ended up catching 3 more out of 8 and finished in 2nd place overall for the prestigious fishing championship. What a great season so far, both for tournament finishes and great Fl. charter fishing out of Stuart. Call now to book for Feb. and on.
